El Arzobispo de Malta, Mons. Charles Jude Scicluna, ha criticado al gobierno maltés por no permitir el acceso a sus puertos a los barcos de rescate operados por diversas ONG´s que trasladan inmigrantes.
"Las situaciones difíciles deberían suscitar lo mejor en nosotros. El primer pensamiento para los humanos en peligro es que se trata de seres humanos. Puertas cerradas, puertos cerrados, corazones cerrados: muy triste de hecho", expresó el Prelado a través de su cuenta de Twitter.
